Utilities Cost Controller at NSB Omega

Location: St. John's

Join NSB Omega as a Cost Controller for a major Utilities Client in St. John’s, NL. Focus on project forecasts, cost analysis, and reporting to support capital functions.

In this critical role, you will deliver analytical support and maintain accurate monthly cost tracking and reporting. Your responsibilities will include vendor invoice coding, preparation of capital accruals, and completion of progress billings. Your expertise will guide decision-making and enhance project forecasting within the Utilities landscape.

Key Responsibilities:

• Track all capital metrics and provide variance reports

• Complete project forecasting and budget change orders

• Prepare monthly capital accruals and purchasing reports

• Record and track work under In-Service Failure programs

• Provide ad hoc reporting as required

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting

• Relevant cost control experience in capital project environments

• Strong analytical skills and accounting knowledge

• Utility industry experience is advantageous

• Familiar with project close-out documentation
