Overview

Regional Director - Sales & Distribution for Forward Insurance Managers Ltd. required to travel regularly in British Columbia with most time in Greater Vancouver and Fraser Valley.

• Accountable for managing, developing and expanding partnerships with current commercial brokerage partners.
• Develop new relationships to grow business and expand distribution in BC.
• Develop and achieve specific company objectives and goals.
• Continuously improve understanding of the insurance market, staying up to date on industry trends and competitive intelligence.
• Report to Managing Director and collaborate with other team members.
• Promote and model company culture, values and brand promise.
• Perform other duties as required.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in the Commercial Lines Insurance Industry.
• Excellent organizational, planning and time‑management skills.
• Confident in conducting round‑table meetings with effective presentation skills.
• Focused, goal‑oriented, strong professional communication written and verbal.
• Strong computer skills, high proficiency with MS Office.

Preference for applicants with Insurance Industry experience or education (CAIB, CIP or other relevant designations).

CAD $90,000‑$115,000 (actual pay may be below or above range based on candidate’s skills and level of ability relative to expectations).
