About

The Role

Reporting to Wealthsimple’s Principal Broker, the selected mortgage broker will be responsible for connecting clients with mortgage solutions and driving business growth. No pre‑existing book of business is required. Our ideal hire has a builder mindset, is detail‑oriented, action‑oriented, and proactive. They own their role and continuously help identify ways to improve processes and controls while mitigating risk. It is essential that this person manages time well, keeps on top of deliverables, and has the potential to grow with us.

Must be a licensed mortgage broker in at least one Canadian province. Experience in lending products or other sales functions is a strong plus.

In this role you'll have the opportunity to:
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, providing expert advice and guiding clients through the mortgage process
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, leveraging industry knowledge
  • Partner with Wealthsimple’s legal, compliance, product, and marketing teams to ensure all activities align with regulatory requirements and company objectives
  • Stay informed about regulatory developments, industry trends, and emerging risks
  • Track and analyze sales performance to identify areas for improvement and growth

This is a commission‑based role, offering substantial earning potential. Details of the commission structure will be discussed during the interview process.
