We are looking for an Offshore District Representative (Rotational) located in Newfoundland, Canada. The Offshore District Representative (O-DR) will be primarily responsible for working with Sales Representatives on executing service plans in strategic district accounts. The O-DR will be required to assist District Sales Representatives with start-ups of both new applications in current customers, and in transitioning competitively-held accounts to Champion

X. In addition, the O-DR must build long-term relationships with a large customer base by understanding their key business drivers, executing system assurance programs, and selling new technologies.

  • What You Will Do:

  • Work closely with current and new customers to understand business needs and recommend continuous improvement and innovation plans that will maintain and grow sales within assigned territory

  • Assist in performing customer service and account management activities under the guidance and supervision of experienced sales professionals

  • Provide technical support to customers; identifying and resolving customer complaints, escalating as required

  • Engage in problem solving by performing system analysis, interpreting data and providing written recommendations to ensure customer operations are performing at optimal levels.

  • Actively sell and support Champion

    X innovations and technology in assigned customers to promote long-term business relationships with ChampionX

  • Assist in developing strong relationships with key stakeholders in current and new customers, including plant or facility executives

  • Achieve annual sales target by working collaboratively on targeting new business opportunities through application of professional selling and planning techniques

  • Assist with collection of samples and conduct laboratory analysis

  • Position Details:

  • Work week and shift: 21-day/21 day Offshore rotation.

  • This role requires the individual to be clean-shaven to comply with the customer site policy and safety requirement.

  • This is a safety-sensitive position, and the successful candidate will be required to complete drug and alcohol testing.

  • Immigration sponsorship is not available for this position.

  • Minimum Qualifications:

  • Ability to travel within the assigned sales territory

  • Up to 50% overnight travel required to support sales territory

  • Must have a valid Driver’s License and an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record

  • Must be able to run laboratory tests, including Basic Sediment & Water via Karl Fischer and Centrifuge, Oil-In-Water, Chlorides in Water, Bacteria counts, etc

  • Physical Demands:

  • May be required to Lift/Push/Pull/Carry up to 55 pounds chest high.

  • Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2 years of successful technical sales or field sales support experience

  • 2 years of experience directly related to well service stimulation business

  • Experience in the oil and gas industry.

  • High computer application literacy (including Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn internal business systems)

  • History of working in a field that required autonomy and self-motivation

  • Prior experience that required excellent communication and organizational skills

  • Prior experience that demonstrates strong ethics, effective time management, ability to multitask, adaptability, autonomy and self-motivation
