The Home Taste  is a welcoming platform that connects home cooks with people seeking authentic, affordable, home-cooked meals. By bringing diverse home flavors directly to customers' doors, we help celebrate cultural traditions and everyday cooking. We support local cooks by allowing them to share their culinary skills and generate income, while building community and making home cooking more accessible to everyone.

We're looking for an energetic, people-focused Sales & Marketing Representative to help grow our community of customers and Home Cooks, and expand our Meal Plan program across the region.

• Promote The Home Taste  in the community and at local events
• Generate customer sign-ups and app downloads
• Promote and sell The Home Taste  Meal Plans, driving new subscriptions
• Build partnerships with offices, student groups, companies, warehouses, colleges, universities, and community organizations
• Attend events and conduct on-the-ground local outreach
• Support social media and marketing campaigns
• Provide basic training and onboarding to new Home Cooks and users

• Strong communication skills — clear speaking, active listening, and the ability to adapt your message for different audiences
• Customer service experience, with empathy, problem-solving, and a focus on positive relationships
• Sales and marketing skills, including prospecting, presenting benefits, and supporting local promotional campaigns
• Ability to deliver clear, supportive training to new Home Cooks and users
• Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working independently on-site with minimal supervision
• Comfort engaging with diverse communities and representing an inclusive brand
• Passion for food and community-based businesses

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Strong communication and sales skills
• Outgoing and self-driven personality
• Experience in sales, marketing, or customer service is an asset
