Stantec is on the lookout for an Aquatic Biologist with robust field experience and solid analytical skills. This position will involve conducting ecological assessments, analyzing environmental data, and producing reports that contribute to sustainable practices in aquatic environments. Contributing to team-oriented projects, you'll engage directly with diverse aquatic systems throughout the region.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead aquatic surveys for fish and habitat assessment
• Analyze and interpret environmental data efficiently
• Conduct statistical evaluations to assess biological trends
• Prepare and review technical reports and submissions
• Engage in business development and client communication
Requirements:
• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Science with applicable experience
• Experience with aquatic field methodologies
• Proficient in data analysis and report writing
• Strong communication skills for team collaboration
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel
