GHD is hiring for an Intermediate Environmental Professional - Scientist or Engineer in St. John's, NL. You'll play a key role in environmental assessments, supporting sustainable practices.
Join a multidisciplinary team focused on contaminated site assessment and remediation across Atlantic Canada. You will conduct Phase I to IV Environmental Site Assessments, manage field teams, and ensure adherence to environmental laws. With a focus on risk assessments and project management, this role is perfect for someone with strong consulting experience.
Key Responsibilities:
• Execute comprehensive Environmental Site Assessments
• Direct sampling and excavation activities on-site
• Liaise with clients and regulatory authorities
• Develop detailed reports for environmental compliance
• Ensure project timelines and quality are met
Requirements:
• Degree in Science or Engineering (P.Eng. or P.Geo. preferred)
• At least 5 years of consulting experience
• In-depth knowledge of environmental regulations
• Excellent project coordination and communication skills
• Valid driver's license and flexibility for site travel
