Forestry, Agriculture and Lands This position performs program and/or project planning and co-ordination in specialized areas (harvesting, roads, silviculture, GIS, forest fire suppression, wildlife control management) of forest ecosystem management. The incumbent will monitor contractors and assigned staff in the implementation of various forestry programs; participates in collection, compilation, and analysis of program/project related information and field data; makes recommendations on the development of short and long-term management plans;
performs annual updates to various registries; compiles digital mapping; ensures programs and/or projects comply with approved ecosystem management plans; utilizes Global Positioning System (GPS) and Geographic Information System (GIS) technologies to collect and process data for integration into a provincial database; analyze and query data to… Employment terms: 1 Permanent.
