Location: Mount Pearl

Wajax seeks an On-Site Heavy Equipment Technician to troubleshoot and repair equipment including Hitachi loaders across Newfoundland. Fieldwork is essential for this role.

Your role as a Heavy Equipment Technician will involve inspecting and servicing various machinery, and you will utilize your trade certification and problem-solving skills to deliver exceptional service. With 2-3 years of experience, you will establish strong working relationships with customers, ensuring all service needs are addressed promptly. Training opportunities will enhance your skills further in alignment with Wajax's commitment to employee development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct diagnostics for heavy equipment servicing

• Perform repairs both in the field and in-shop

• Communicate effectively with customers and complete service documentation

• Maintain accurate service records and warranties

• Uphold health and safety practices

Requirements:

• Trade certification with Journeyman Red Seal

• 2-3 years field experience

• Strong written and verbal communication

• Mechanical and analytical skills

• Travel required for site work
