This full-time role involves hands-on work with dangerous materials, where your skills in identifying, removing, and remediating asbestos and mold are crucial. You’ll also engage in demolition and uphold all safety standards as you collaborate with a dedicated team. Flexibility for a rotating on-call schedule is essential due to the nature of disaster response.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct remediation of hazardous asbestos and mold

• Identify materials for safe disposal

• Carry out demolition tasks as required

• Ensure cleanliness and order on all job sites

• Train across different remediation roles as needed

Requirements:

• NL Asbestos Certification necessary

• Competent in basic carpentry for effective containment

• Ability to work in confined spaces and heavy lifting

• Valid driver’s license with clean record

• Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written
