• Inspecting, testing, and servicing fire extinguishers
• Inspecting and testing fire hoses
• Servicing life‑saving appliances
• Ensuring timely and quality completion of work orders
• Completing daily reports of completed work orders and activities
• Monitoring parts inventory and equipment maintenance requirements
• Following all safe work practices and safety leadership is demonstrated in all aspects of the job
• Participating in on‑call/call out emergency service as required

• All required PPE and access to calibrated meters/equipment
• Clear job information before you arrive — no being sent in blind

• Mechanical aptitude and interest in hands‑on technical work (automotive, heavy equipment, industrial, electrical, or similar backgrounds all translate well)
• Strong safety mindset, attention to detail, and willingness to follow procedures
• Curiosity and a willingness to learn – you ask questions and take pride in doing it right
• Ability to lift, work on your feet, and use hand/power tools safely
• Valid driver’s license
• Nice to have (not required): coursework or experience in automotive, heavy equipment, industrial mechanic, electrical, or fire protection technology
