Newforce Energy Services Ltd. is looking for a Heavy Equipment Technician to work in Red Deer County, Alberta. This role requires expertise in maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing heavy equipment in oilfield environments.

In this full-time position, you will ensure that heavy-duty equipment and haul trucks operate efficiently by performing both routine maintenance and necessary repairs. We are seeking candidates with a Journeyman Heavy Duty Equipment Technician Certification and at least 3-5 years of industry experience. The work involves outdoor tasks and field service responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues

• Conduct routine inspections to prevent equipment failures

• Maintain detailed service logs and order parts

• Ensure compliance with safety regulations during repairs

• Perform emergency repairs and field service work as needed

Requirements:

• Journeyman Heavy Duty Equipment Technician Certification

• 3-5 years of experience with industrial equipment

• Solid knowledge of diesel, hydraulics, and electrical systems

• Class 5 driver’s license with a clear driving record

• Current safety certifications: H2S, First Aid, CSO
