Join the GFL team as an Industrial Labourer in St. John’s, NL, focusing on hydro-excavation and maintenance tasks. You will provide essential support for vacuum trucks, ensuring operational standards are met.
Our St. John’s facility is hiring labourers to assist with high-pressure water tasks and general vehicle upkeep. The role includes hydro-excavation for line repairs and flushing sewer mains. You'll receive in-house training to effectively operate equipment to GFL standards and participate in an on-call rotation.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate equipment to GFL safety and operational standards
• Handle high-pressure water for hydro-excavation tasks
• Clean and maintain catch basins effectively
• Assist with offloading truck debris as necessary
• Participate in the on-call support schedule when required
Requirements:
• Available to work evening shifts from 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM
• Able to lift objects/equipment up to 50 lbs
• Strong team player who can work independently
• Pass pre-employment drug and alcohol tests
• Legally eligible to work in Canada
