Wood is currently accepting applications for adhoc Journeyperson Electricians with extensive oil and gas experience for Offshore Newfoundland and Labrador.
The Role
Location:
Offshore Newfoundland and Labrador
Site / Office based:
Hibernia
Hours of work: 12 hours per day
Rotation / work pattern:
Call out, as needed
Required:
Site-specific medical, drug and alcohol testing
Unionized position:
Rates follow the Collective Bargaining Agreement
You will be working in confined spaces and/or at heights, as well as noisy conditions. Work may be indoors or outdoors, and at extreme temperatures. Within this role you will install, alter, repair and maintain electrical systems designed to provide heat, light, power, control, signal or fire alarms for all types of buildings structures and premises. Read and interpret electrical, mechanical and architectural drawings, specifications, and applicable codes to determine wiring layouts Use tools, materials and equipment with the purpose of executing the work.
Working in confined spaces and/or at heights, work may be indoor or outdoor and in extreme temperatures.
