Jump Recruitment Specialists has partnered with Cooper Custom Homes in search of a full-time permanent Experienced Carpenter for projects within St. Johns and surrounding areas.

The Job
  • Execute carpentry tasks for new home construction projects.
  • Interpret and work from blueprints, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate project execution.
  • Frame walls, roofs, and floors, install windows and doors, and complete various carpentry tasks with precision.
  • Collaborate with the construction team to meet project deadlines and quality standards.
  • Provide input on construction planning and contribute to problem-solving when challenges arise.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Carpenter in residential renovations and new home construction.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
  • Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, materials, and tools.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong commitment to safety protocols and guidelines.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Qualifications
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in residential carpentry.
  • Trade certification or relevant education is an asset.
  • Demonstrated portfolio of completed residential renovation and construction projects.
  • Proficiency in using carpentry tools and equipment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
