Advance your technical skills as an Emergency Vehicle Technician with Medavie Health NL. This permanent role in Newfoundland and Labrador focuses on maintaining emergency vehicles in accordance with high standards of safety and efficiency.
As a critical member of Medavie Health NL, you'll utilize your expertise to ensure vehicles are properly maintained and documented. This position requires a Red Seal Certified Automotive Service Technician with strong mechanical aptitude and initiative. Key Responsibilities:
• Operate all emergency vehicles safely and efficiently
• Maintain documentation of work orders accurately
• Compile lists of necessary mechanical parts and supplies
• Complete mechanical repairs as directed
• Ensure cleanliness of the station during shifts
Requirements:
• Five years of experience as a Red Seal Certified Technician
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license or willingness to obtain
• Strong mechanical and judgment skills
• Enroll in Emergency Vehicle Technician certification
• Willing to obtain WHMIS and JOHS certifications
