TITLE
Travel RN - Overflow IMCU / Cardiac Telemetry

SCHEDULE
- Weekends:
Every other weekend

REQUIREMENTS
- License: GA or Compact nursing license required

- Certifications:

BLS, ACLS
- Years of experience:
Minimum 1 year recent acute care nursing (travel experience required; 1st-timers not accepted)
- Unit-specific skills:
Telemetry/arrhythmia recognition and management; post-cardiac cath/PCI care; hemodynamic monitoring; management of CHF, chest pain, pulmonary disease (COPD/pulmonary edema), renal issues, DKA;
Basic med/surg skills such as IV starts/maintenance, central/peripheral line care, and blood product administration.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in an overflow IMCU/Cardiac Telemetry unit.
- Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry to recognize arrhythmias and respond appropriately.
- Administer medications and manage cardiac drips as prescribed.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to optimize patient care.
- Educate patients and families regarding conditions and post-cardiac procedures.

COMPLIANCE / NOTES
- Full travel experience required for submission.

Tuesday prior to start.
- References:
Two supervisory references (manager or above) highly preferred.
- Holiday policy:
If 1-2 major holidays occur during assignment, traveler expected to work them; if 3 occur, traveler expected to work two (limited RTO options).
