Experience:

Minimum 1 year travel nursing experience required; first-time travelers not accepted.
License:
Must hold an active nursing license.

Certifications:

BLS, ACLS

Must-Have:
- Travel experience is required.
- Experience in arrhythmia management and hemodynamic monitoring.
- Knowledge of cardiac drips and basic arrhythmia.

Description:

This position involves providing care to adult and geriatric patients.
Candidates must have experience with overflow IMCU and managing cardiac conditions.
Common patient diagnoses include cardiac CHF, arrhythmias, and respiratory issues such as COPD and pulmonary edema.
The nurse will also care for post-cardiac cath patients and manage TR bands.
Candidate should be able to handle surgical patients as needed.

Experience with various cardiac drips including amiodarone, cardizem, dobutamine, and nitroglycerin is essential.
Patient-to-nurse ratio is 1:5-6.
The nurse will utilize an electronic medical record system for charting.
Floating to similar units may be required based on staffing needs.
Working may be required on major holidays.
Compliance with all pre-employment requirements is expected.
Two supervisory references are preferred for submission.
Availability for weekend shifts is required.
Travelers are expected to work two of three major holidays during their assignment.
