Must-Have:
Travel experience is required.
General skills include arrhythmia management, cardioversion, and monitoring of cardiac patients.

Experience with cardiac drips and hemodynamic monitoring is essential.

Description:

Candidates will care for adult and geriatric patients in a telemetry setting.
Responsibilities include managing overflow IMCU patients and performing arrhythmia management.
Nurses will support patients with cardiac CHF, chest pain, renal, and pulmonary conditions.
Patients may also include those recovering from surgical procedures such as cholecystectomy and appendectomy.
Care of occasional vascular patients and post-cardiac catheterization is also expected.
The patient ratio is approximately 1 nurse to 5-6 patients.

Experience with various cardiac medications and drips is necessary.
Basic arrhythmia knowledge is a must.
The position requires floating to like units as needed.
Holiday availability is expected as outlined in the policy.
Compliance with documentation is required before the start of the assignment.
Two supervisory references are preferred for the application process.
Travelers should remain flexible to various locations, units, and shifts as necessary.
