About the Position
Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse – Intermediate Care / Telemetry – Georgia

Schedule:
13-week assignment; 36 hours per week; 1:5–6 patient ratio (up to 1:6 on weekends); every other weekend required; floating within scope of practice as needed
Highlights:
Overflow Intermediate Care Unit serving adult and geriatric populations with cardiac, renal, pulmonary, and post-surgical diagnoses
Manage stable cardiac arrhythmias, post-cardiac cath patients, cardioversion, and cardiac drip titration including amiodarone, cardizem, dobutamine, dopamine, nitroglycerin, milrinone, and heparin protocols
Experience required with hemodynamic monitoring, TR bands, and care of patients post-PCI
Epic EMR preferred; 32-bed unit with interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and phlebotomy
Up to 7 days of requested time off permitted during assignment
Holiday coverage required per assignment length; call is rare with 2-hour response time
Requirements:
Active Georgia or Compact RN license in hand at time of application
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Minimum 1 year of RN experience; travel nursing experience required (first-time travelers not accepted)
Demonstrated competency with cardiac drip titration, arrhythmia interpretation and management, telemetry monitoring, and post-cardiac cath care
Proficiency with BiPAP/CPAP, high-flow nasal cannula, IV starts and maintenance, blood product administration, central and peripheral line management, and feeding tube care
Two supervisory references from Manager level or above required at time of submission
