About the Position
Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse (RN) – Intermediate Care / Telemetry – Georgia

Schedule:
12-hour shifts; 1:5-6 patient ratio (1:6 on weekends); every other weekend required; floating within scope as needed
Highlights:
32-bed Overflow Intermediate Care Unit with diverse patient acuity including cardiac, pulmonary, renal, and post-surgical cases
Manage complex cardiac drips including Amiodarone, Cardizem, Dobutamine, Dopamine, Milrinone, and Nitroglycerin
Epic EMR (preferred), telemetry monitoring, arrhythmia interpretation and management, post-cardiac cath care
13-week travel assignment with full interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
Maximum 7 days RTO available during assignment
Comprehensive orientation with 36 non-billable hours to ensure successful onboarding
Requirements:
Active Georgia or Compact RN license required at time of submission
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Minimum 1 year of recent nursing experience; prior travel experience mandatory
Demonstrated experience managing and titrating cardiac drips:
Amiodarone, Cardizem, Dobutamine, Dopamine, Milrinone, Nitroglycerin, Bumex, Lasix, Aggrastat, Argatroban, Heparin, and insulin drips (hard stop requirement)
Proficiency with telemetry monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, pre/post cardiac cath care, and TR bands
Experience with BiPAP/CPAP, high flow nasal cannula, IV starts and maintenance, phlebotomy, and port access
Strong med-surg foundation with experience caring for adults and geriatric patients
Two supervisory references (Manager level or above) highly preferred at time of submission
Must be available to complete compliance documents and labs within 48 hours of contract signing
