About the Position
Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse (RN) – Intermediate Care / Step-Down – Georgia

Schedule:
12-hour shifts; every other weekend required; patient ratio 1:5–6; 32-bed unit
Highlights:
Overflow IMCU setting with diverse cardiac, medical-surgical, and post-procedure patient population
Experience with cardiac drips including Amiodarone, Cardizem, Dopamine, Milrinone, and Nitroglycerin required
Manage arrhythmias, post-cardiac cath, cardioversion, CHF, chest pain, DKA, and complex medical-surgical cases
Epic EMR system preferred; supportive interdisciplinary team including respiratory, pharmacy, and rapid response
Assignment length flexible; orientation provided with bi-weekly start schedule
Maximum 7 days requested time off available during assignment
Requirements:
Active Georgia or Compact State RN license (must be in hand at time of application)
Current BLS and ACLS certifications required; NIHSS preferred
Minimum 1 year of recent RN experience; prior travel experience required
Demonstrated experience managing and titrating cardiac drips:
Amiodarone, Cardizem, Dobutamine, Dopamine, Milrinone, Nitroglycerin, Bumex, Lasix, Aggrastat, Argatroban, Heparin, and insulin drips
Proficiency in arrhythmia interpretation and management, telemetry monitoring, pre/post cardiac cath care, and TR band application
Experience with BiPAP/CPAP, high-flow nasal cannula, IV therapy, central and peripheral line management, and blood product administration
Two supervisory references (Manager level or above) highly preferred at time of submission
Full compliance documentation required prior to start date to avoid delays
