American Traveler is hiring a travel CT Technologist with a minimum of 3 years of experience to work night shifts at a Level 3 Trauma hospital serving a neonatal to geriatric patient population.

• Inpatient and outpatient CT setting within a Level 3 Trauma hospital with 237 beds, 59 ED treatment areas, and a high volume of Stroke Alerts
• CT department with 4 scan rooms and an average daily caseload of 12–24 patients
• Patient population spans neonates to geriatrics, including IP, ED, and OP patients
• Siemens and Philips CT scanners in use;
  Epic EMR and Fuji PACS for charting and imaging
• Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
• Every other weekend required unless otherwise specified
• 8 on-call shifts required for the duration of the assignment; schedule provided with at least 2 weeks notice
• Floating within the facility and scope of practice as needed
• Local candidates are accepted

• Minimum of 3 years of CT Technologist experience required
• Active BLS, ARRT, and ARRT (R)(CT) certifications required
• License required if applicable
• Copies of all required certifications must be provided for consideration
• Experience performing CT scans on inpatient, ED, and outpatient populations required
• Ability to start IVs, obtain patient consent, and deliver direct patient care

• Responsibilities include performing CT scans following established protocols, starting IVs, obtaining patient consent, and maintaining a collaborative working environment with technologists, nurses, physicians, and transport staff
• First-time travelers are accepted for this position
• Gray scrubs required
• RTO maximum of 7 days for the assignment; RTO cannot be requested during the first week of the assignment
• If one or two major holidays fall within the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work those holidays and no holiday RTO will be approved; if three major holidays fall within the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work two of them and one holiday RTO request may be considered
• Major holidays include Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, and New Year's Eve/New Year's Day
• Travelers must have been away from all facilities within this health system for at least one full year before returning as a traveler
• No special scheduling requests, alternate shifts, or schedule changes are permitted — the listed shift is firm
• All compliance requirements must be completed on time; delays may result in a two-week start date pushback due to a bi-weekly orientation schedule
