Builder Support Attorneys are integral to the real estate industry, as they provide the legal expertise necessary to finalize property transactions, safeguard clients' interests, and ensure that all aspects of the closing process follow relevant laws and regulations. This role is essential in facilitating the transfer of property ownership and upholding the integrity of real estate transactions. They are responsible for ensuring that all financial and contractual obligations are met, ensuring that funds are properly disbursed, and that the necessary legal and regulatory requirements are adhered to throughout the closing process.
Effective communication and collaboration with clients and stakeholders are key aspects of your role.
- Conduct table signings for Residential and New Construction transactions adhering to company, client, and jurisdictional processes.
- Ensure seamless execution of signings to meet legal and procedural requirements.
- Draft and review contracts, deeds, leases, and other legal documents as necessary.
- Guarantee the accuracy and compliance of documents with transaction terms.
- Review the closing statement to confirm the precision of all financial details.
- Ensure alignment with transaction terms and relevant regulations.
- Scrutinize loan documents and complete the closing package for accuracy and compliance with applicable laws.
- Play a key role in safeguarding the legal and financial interests of clients.
Legal Advice:
- Provide comprehensive legal advice to clients regarding transaction implications.
- Address and resolve any legal concerns arising during the course of the transaction.
- Apply knowledge of title insurance policies to shield clients from potential title defects.
- Ensure clients are well-informed about title-related risks and protections.
- Evaluate property surveys, inspections, and other relevant documentation.
- Ensure a thorough understanding of property-related information to inform legal decisions.
Title Examination:
- Conduct a meticulous review of the property's title to identify any liens, encumbrances, or defects.
- Play a crucial role in ensuring a clear and marketable title for clients.
- Develop and implement strategies to attract new clients and expand the client base.
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in the real estate industry.
- Participate in maintaining a tidy and organized office environment.
- Assist with general administrative tasks as needed to support team operations.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management to meet organizational needs.
- Active member of relevant state bar in good standing
- State-specific Notary Public
- In-depth understanding of real estate laws, regulations, and local ordinances.
- Knowledge of property rights, land use, zoning laws, and environmental regulations.
- Knowledge of title insurance policies to protect clients against potential title defects.
- Evaluating property surveys, inspections, and other relevant documentation.
