Network Engineer Job Stockbridge area,Georgia USA,Manufacturing / Production

Our client is a leading healthcare organization providing comprehensive medical services across multiple hospital and clinical locations. Based out of Atlanta, they are looking to hire a Network Engineer on a Contract basis.

Contract Duration: 6 Month Contract (Potential for extension or conversion)

Required Skills & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related field required. In lieu of degree, four (4) years of relevant work experience will be accepted in addition to the experience requirement.
Two (2) years of work experience including hands-on knowledge of the installation, implementation, and maintenance of Cisco networking equipment is required. (If no degree, a total of six (6) years of experience required.)
Cisco Certified Network Analyst (CCNA) is required.

Daily Responsibilities

Assists with support to network infrastructure initiatives in the areas of preventative maintenance, configuration back-ups, capacity planning, network redundancy, and disaster recovery.

Provides basic network administration and assists with complex network administration.

Monitors network infrastructure with some guidance.

Updates network documentation both written and network diagrams.

Performs installations of new facilities with some guidance and monitors par levels of equipment.

Performs maintenance and support our production environments through moves, adds, and changes.

Assist with the maintenance of security in the network architecture by following Piedmont Healthcare standard policies and procedures pertaining to this area.

Evening and weekend on-call support via remote assistance and possible onsite support. Occasional travel in the Atlanta area may be required; you must be willing to travel and possess a valid driver's license.

Keep current on new and innovative computing technologies.

Promotes corporate integrity through compliance with the Piedmont Healthcare Corporate Compliance Program.

Performs other duties as assigned.
