What Youll Do
Care for patients with Congestive Heart Failure (CHF), coronary artery disease (CAD), Diabetic Keto acidosis (DKA) and other disease processes
Manage continuous infusions including but not limited to:
o Milrinone
o Amiodarone
o Dobutamine
o Insulin
Perform comprehensive patient assessments and respond to clinical changes
Monitor cardiac rhythms
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to deliver high quality care
Gain an understanding of how cardiology interconnects with other body systems
Care for patients requiring oxygen therapy utilizing High Flow Nasal Cannula or BiPAP
Educate patients on heart health, medications, and lifestyle modifications
Gain knowledge of managing post-cardiac interventions such as pacemaker, life
Vest, and automated implantable cardioverter-defibrillator (AICD) placement
What Were Looking For
Licensed Registered Nurse or New Graduate nurse eligible for licensure

Responsibilities:The staff nurse provides nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the care for patients. He/she functions within the framework of the policies and procedures of the organization and demonstrates professional growth and accountability. The staff nurse is responsible for maintaining standards of practice, coordinating patient care activities of all assigned staff in the provision of quality nursing care.
Qualifications:
Education
- Graduate from a nursing program Required
- Bachelors Degree Preferred
Work Experience
- No experience required New Graduates of a nursing program eligible Required
- Nursing Experience in Hospital Setting Preferred
- 1 year in a hospital setting for PRN positions Required
Licenses and Certifications
- RN - Registered Nurse - Georgia State Licensure and/or NLC/eNCL Multistate Licensure Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNLC Multistate License. Required and
- BCLS - Basic Life Support Required
