• Fully Accredited Stroke Center
• 18‑bed Cardiac Observation Unit working closely with ED
• Multidisciplinary ED team: MD, APP, RN, C‑RN, Flow Coordinator, Unit Based Educator, RN, Paramedics, Patient Care Technicians, Radiology staff, Respiratory staff, Patient Experience & Patient Access.

• 75,000‑90,000 visits per year
• Licensed for 59 beds
• Patient‑to‑RN ratio 3/4:1
• Level III trauma center
• Triage and assessment of patient complaints
• Patient discharge education

The staff nurse provides nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care. The staff nurse functions within the organization’s policies and procedures, demonstrates professional growth and accountability, maintains standards of practice, and coordinates patient care activities of all assigned staff to provide quality nursing care.

• Graduate from a recognized, accredited school of nursing – Required
• Bachelor’s Degree – Preferred

• No experience required. New Graduates of a nursing program eligible – Required
• Hospital nursing experience – Preferred
• 1 year in a hospital setting for PRN positions – Preferred

• Registered Nurse – Georgia State Licensure and/or NLC/eNCL Multistate Licensure (current in Georgia) – Required
• Basic Life Support (BCLS) – Required
• Advanced specialty certification, if applicable (see addendum)
