Travel RN - Labor & Delivery

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor and Delivery position requiring 2 years of experience and GA or compact RN licensure.

• Active GA or Compact RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience required
• Current certifications required: ACLS, BLS, NRP
• AWHONN Intermediate certification preferred
• Skilled in Labor and Delivery management and circulating for C-sections
• First-time travelers accepted

• Labor and Delivery unit setting
• Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
• Every other weekend required
• On-call requirement of one 12-hour shift per schedule
• Floating within facility and scope of practice as needed
• 8-week assignment length
• Clinical screening required to determine fit for the unit, with final decision made by the hiring manager
• Full compliance required to start on time; non-compliance results in a two-week delay due to biweekly orientation schedule
• Maximum RTO of 7 days per contract, must be finalized at time of submission
• No RTO permitted during orientation week
• Holiday coverage required based on number of major holidays falling within the assignment period (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Day, New Year's Eve/Day)
• Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate
• Previous perm, per diem, or FCSS employees must be away from all facilities within the health system for one full year before applying as a traveler
• Travelers who cancel or receive a facility DNR must complete one assignment outside the health system before reapplying
