Quality Assurance Supervisor (US-N)

The Quality Assurance Supervisor role has a national salary range of $55,000 – $90,000. For roles within California the range is $70,304 – $90,000, Washington $80,169 – $90,000, New York $62,354 – $90,000 and Colorado $57,500 – $90,000.

Job Description

Supervisor supporting a specific quality assurance program and quality control activities in support of site compliance with the DHL Quality Management System and customer and regulatory requirements. The position is a direct supervisor of hourly associates supporting quality activities.

Responsibilities
  • Supports the maintenance and continuous improvement of the overall quality system or a specific procedure, including management review, CAPA management, internal quality audits, quality self-assessments, change control, document control, and standard operating procedures/work instructions.
  • Provides support on key regulatory, customer and third-party audits.
  • Tracks, monitors, and reports quality assurance metrics for the site.
  • Monitors the training and development of site associates to ensure compliance with processes and regulations.
  • Serves as a customer point of contact for QA related issues/initiatives as assigned.
  • Partners with QA management to develop, distribute and maintain regular management reports.
  • Meets regulatory requirements relevant to operations on a daily basis.
  • Ensures customer service and business standards requirements are met daily.
  • Plans, conducts, and acts upon inspection processes—Gemba, Standards Confirmation, etc., on a daily basis.
  • Supervises, coaches, and trains hourly associates supporting quality assurance and control activities (e.g., Operators, QA Tech I, QA Tech II).
  • Other duties as assigned.
Required

Education and Experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree, preferred.
  • Some knowledge of QA, preferred.
  • People management experience, preferred.
  • Sufficient computer application experience.
  • Strong written and verbal communication.
  • Data analysis experience.
  • Training and facilitation skills.
  • Self-​management.
