CASHIER
Responsibilities:
- Provides fast and friendly checkout services for customers.
- Assists customers with questions about the store.
- Scans and/or weighs products during the checkout process.
- Handles cash and other forms of payment properly.
- Maintains a neat and clean work area.
- Restocks register supplies.
- Performs “go‑backs” of returned or abandoned merchandise.
- Bags groceries when necessary or assists Courtesy Clerk in doing so.
- Other duties as assigned.
Good customer service skills. Able to read, write and perform basic math problems (counting, addition, subtraction).
Physical Requirements:Able to lift 25 lbs. Work includes standing, reaching, twisting, bending, stooping, squatting and kneeling.
