Oversee and develop store teams, drive customer service and financial performance, and ensure compliance with company policies while fostering a culture of belonging and continuous improvement.

• Lead and develop teams by teaching, training, and actively listening to associates; tour stores; provide feedback; and communicate and collaborate with all levels of staff on store operations, merchandising, and company direction.
• Introduce and lead company change efforts; set clear expectations and provide guidance to implement business solutions; communicate business objectives to teams.
• Model exceptional customer service by following the service model; support customer service initiatives including community outreach; resolve customer needs and complaints; develop action plans to correct deficiencies; provide process-improvement leadership.
• Drive financial performance by reviewing P&L statements; assist in budgeting, forecasting, and controlling expenses; ensure merchandise presentation, seasonal transitions, inventory flow, and operational processes align with sales goals; develop action plans to mitigate shrink.
• Provide supervision and development opportunities for hourly associates; hire, train, mentor, assign duties, recognize performance; promote a belonging mindset; recruit and develop qualified staff to meet staffing needs.
• Coordinate and oversee job-related activities by building relationships with stakeholders; support plans to meet customer and business needs; identify goals and objectives; monitor progress and drive accountability.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures; support company mission, values, ethics, and integrity; apply Open Door Policy in executing business processes.

• Two years of college; OR one year of retail experience with one year of supervisory experience; OR two years of general work experience with one year of supervisory experience.
• For facilities that sell firearms: successful completion of a firearms-specific criminal background check and required training.
• Associates must attend and complete all job-required trainings and assessments (e.g., Academy trainings, Open Door trainings).

• Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership (Live Better U) and Bellevue University; experience supervising five or more direct reports including performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing.
