Telecoms Engineering, Installation Technician
Responsibilities
- Pull, route, and install fiber optic cable
- Assist with low-voltage and telecommunications infrastructure installations
- Work with cable pathways, conduits, and telecommunications equipment
- Read and follow blueprints, schematics, and installation drawings
- Install, terminate, and test cabling as directed
- Use hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Travel between project sites throughout Massachusetts
- Support lead technicians and project teams to ensure successful project completion
Previous experience in one or more of the following:
- Fiber optics
- Low-voltage systems
- Structured cabling
- Electrical work
- Telecommunications
- Security systems
- AV installations
- Construction
- Experience using hand and power tools
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment
- Reliable transportation
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to travel to various project locations throughout Massachusetts
- OSHA 10 Certification
- Fiber optic installation experience
- Cat5, Cat5e, Cat6, or coax cabling experience
- Telecommunications or ISP experience
- Fire alarm, CCTV, or access control experience
- Electrical apprenticeship or trade school education
- Experience working in apartment complexes or commercial construction environments
- On-site at customer locations throughout Massachusetts
- Indoor and outdoor work environments
- Residential, commercial, and multi-dwelling unit properties
- Active construction and renovation sites
- Fast-paced team environment

This is a Contract position based out of Stockbridge, GA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $28.00 - $34.00/hr.
