Nursery Manager

We are recruiting for a Nursery Manager for a Nursey that is based in the Offerton area of Stockport In your role as Nursery Manager you will be joining a well established small chain of nurseries with a home from home feel. they are accredited with forest school association, the curiosity approach and others The role is working over 4 days per week Benefits of the Nursery Manager role in Stockport £32 - £38k salary per annum dependent on experience 4 day working week A comprehensive pension scheme with employer contributions Discounted childcare Bonus schemes Requirements of the Nursery Manager role in Stockport Must have a minimum level 3 in childcare Must have either Deputy experience of management experience in an early years setting Good communication skills Good knowledge of the EYFS Good leadership skills

Duties and responsibilities:

Actively promote and support the protection of children and young people in the workplace, ensuring that all staff and volunteers observe nursery policies and procedures to keep children safe from harm. Help lead and support staff to implement the EYFS Monitor and evaluate practice within playrooms to support improvements. Work with parents/carers of all children to achieve full integration in the nursery.

Foresee the needs of all children, families and staff and give wellbeing guidance as appropriate. Support all staff and lead a good staff team with high morale. Liaise with and support parents/carers and other family members. Liaise with the Local Authority and other professionals for the best outcomes for all children.
