Plant Mechanic

Location: SK6

Salary: £15.00 per hour

Hours: Monday Friday, 7:30am 5:00pm

Holidays: 22 days + Bank Holidays

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Plant Mechanic to join a well-established site team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a time-served mechanic looking for a stable, Monday Friday role.

We are happy to consider candidates from a Plant, HGV, or Agricultural mechanical background
, provided you have hands‑on experience and are confident carrying out repairs independently.

• Diagnosing and repairing plant machinery as required
• Carrying out general mechanical repairs and maintenance
• Occasional light MIG welding (very minimal)
• Operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck (FLT)
• Working as part of a small, easy-going onsite team

• Time-served mechanic with relevant hands‑on experience
• Background in Plant, HGV or Agricultural machinery
• Ability to work independently and manage repair workloads
• FLT Counterbalance licence preferred (training can be refreshed if required)

• Hourly rate of £15.00 per hour
• Monday to Friday working no weekend work
