The Fence Installer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Stockport. Day-to-day responsibilities include installing a range of fence types, preparing and setting posts, mixing and pouring concrete, and ensuring accurate measurements and alignment. The role involves reading and following installation plans, using hand and power tools safely, loading and unloading materials, and maintaining a clean and organised work area.

Fence Installers will interact professionally with clients, follow health and safety procedures, and work closely with team members to complete projects on time and to specification. This position may require working outdoors in varying weather conditions and occasional overtime to meet project deadlines.

• Practical construction skills, including basic carpentry, use of hand and power tools, and safe material handling.
• Ability to read and interpret simple site plans, take accurate measurements, and align fencing structures correctly.
• Strong physical fitness, with the ability to lift heavy materials, work outdoors, and perform manual tasks throughout the day.
• Attention to detail and a focus on quality workmanship, safety, and maintaining a tidy work site.
• Good communication skills and a professional approach when working with team members, supervisors, and clients.
• Reliable transport to the Stockport site and flexibility to work standard full-time hours, with occasional overtime as required. Vehicle provided.
• Previous experience in fencing installation, landscaping, or general construction is preferred but not essential.
• Basic understanding of health and safety practices and a willingness to follow company policies and procedures.
