Hours:

40 hours per week

Working Hours:

11:30am - 8:35pm
PAYE Rate: £14.66 per hour
Umbrella Rate: £19.09 per hour

We are currently looking for an experienced Fabric Technician to work on a hospital site in Stockton-on-Tees for a major Building Services / Facilities Management company.
The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out reactive maintenance, PPMs and minor project works across the hospital.

Duties will include:

Responding to reactive maintenance works
Repairs to floor and wall coverings
Ceiling tile repairs and replacements
General fabric, carpentry and building maintenance
Door, ironmongery and general installation repairs
Lighting and general lamp changes
Basic plumbing works
Filter changes to AHUs / FCUs
Completing reactive and PPM jobs within agreed timescales
Carrying out minor project works
Completing site surveys and assisting with RAMS and Works Requests
Liaising professionally with the client's representatives
Using a PDA to record completed works and provide updates
Ensuring all works are completed safely and in accordance with Health & Safety regulations

Requirements:

Previous fabric maintenance and carpentry experience
City & Guilds or NVQ equivalent in Carpentry preferred
Experience working in a high-profile environment
Valid Basic DBS - essential
Full UK driving licence
PC literate
Good customer service and communication skills
Ability to understand technical drawings, instructions and processes
Able to organise your own workload and identify material requirements
