Position Overview

LHH Recruitment Solutions is looking for a Grant Accounting Specialist for one of our customers located in Stockton, California. This position is 100% in-office. The ideal candidate will have non‑profit industry experience and a well‑rounded skill set in accounting.
The role will be responsible for grant tracking, reconciliations, reimbursement preparation, financial reporting, accounts receivables and assist with additional duties and tasks as assigned.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field would be preferred (or equivalent professional experience)
- Grant support, invoicing, reconciliations, reporting, and compliance
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Software experience with Quickbooks preferred
- Ability to analyze complex technical and business issues)
- Detailed, organized, and thorough
- Excellent communications, outgoing, and good customer service skills
- Team player, thoughtful, with an ability to advise management
3 years of accounting experience with experience in a non‑profit organization)
