Accounting Specialist
LHH Recruitment Solutions is working with one of our clients looking to fill an Accounting Specialist job for the corporate office located in Stockton, CA. This position is 100% in-office! The ideal candidate will have 3 years of accounting experience. The role will be responsible for project accounting, job costing, invoicing, financial reporting, reconciliations, compliance, grant research and tracking, and assist with other duties and projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field preferred
- Strong with Microsoft Excel (Intermediate to Advanced – Pivot Tables & Vlookups required)
- Project accounting or job cost accounting experience would be great
- Previous invoicing experience would be preferred
- Industry experience in a non-profit would be nice to have
- Solid knowledge of general accounting activities knowing your debits and credits
- Good communications skills (written & verbal)
- Team player, helpful, and willing to learn
- Reliable, dedicated, and good common sense
- Detailed, a problem-solver, quick to learn, and organized
Experience:
3 years of experience as an accounting professional (Accounting Clerk, Accounting Assistant, Staff Accountant)
