Medical Biller

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Medical Biller to join their team in Stockton, CA. This is a great opportunity for an administrative professional with billing experience who enjoys problem-solving, working with financial data, and supporting operational processes in a fast-paced environment.

• Medical Biller (Temp-to-Hire)
• Communicate professionally with site and fiscal personnel regarding billing-related processes and assigned tasks.
• Enter services, adjustments, and related billing data accurately and efficiently into billing software on a daily basis.
• Ensure initial client information is entered correctly into the appropriate billing system.
• Perform monthly eligibility checks and elevate any eligibility concerns to the Billing Supervisor.
• Research, troubleshoot, and resolve low to moderate billing issues.
• Access and interpret financial reports for billing and statistical purposes.
• Gather, document, and report billing concerns, discrepancies, and outcomes in a timely manner.
• Complete complex account reconciliations to ensure billing accuracy.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with internal billing procedures.

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 2 years of administrative support experience, including hands-on experience with billing systems.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to analyze information and resolve billing-related issues.
  
  Proficient with data entry and navigating billing software systems.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
