Project Manager - Heavy Civil Engineering

Join our team delivering major infrastructure projects across Northern California. We are seeking a strategic Project Manager to lead high‑impact civil construction projects from concept to completion, driving strategy, solving complex challenges, and bringing plans to life in the field.

Reporting to a Construction Manager, the responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• Understand our client’s needs and the scope of the project.
• Estimate resources needed to complete projects.
• Oversee CPM, 3 Week, and 9 Day schedules.
• Pre‑costing activities of work.
• Manage the cost report, AR and AP aspect of assigned projects.

• Manage one or more direct reports.

• Conduct site safety surveys to evaluate safety program implementation.
• Monitor subcontractor safety performance to ensure Cal‑OSHA compliance.
• Implement and enforce company and client safety policies.

• Other duties as directed by the Construction Manager.

• Undergraduate degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 7‑10 years of experience managing civil engineering projects and jobsite safety.
• Able to read and understand plans and specifications.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), Plan Grid and scheduling software. Ability to learn new programs.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills. Able to communicate with internal and external personnel of all levels. Capable of negotiating with clients.

• Required to pass pre‑employment drug and alcohol screening.

• Pay (base salary) from $130,000/year (depending on qualifications)
