Requirements / QualificationsEducation, Training and Experience
• Meet "No Child Left Behind" requirements AND 6 (six) months of working with students. Possession of valid First Aid Certificate is required within six months from the date of hire. Possession of a valid CPR Certificate is desirable. Previous experience working with children, such as youth groups, instructional aide or any other youth activity is helpful. No Child Left Behind Federal Requirement
• High School Graduation or GED
• Degree or completion of 48 semester units from accredited college or university –or
- County office of Education Certificate showing compliance with NCLB. (SUSD proficiency test taken before 7/1/04 does not meet this requirement)
