Location:

Yolo County, with hybrid flexible work arrangements possible for California residents. The position may be based in Davis, CA or Stockton, CA.

• Provide program direction, logistical support, and guidance to county-based Master Food Preserver (MFP) Coordinators who operate local volunteer and engagement programs to extend research-based information about food preservation and food safety to the public.
• Supervise several MFP Coordinator (Community Education Specialist II/III) positions, focusing on counties that already have established programs.
• Collaborate on the development of training and educational materials, manage web content, and coordinate professional development training.
• Enhance MFP resources to increase relevance to diverse communities.
• Work with UC SAREP to expand resources and partnerships that support food preservation and safety, reduce food waste, and expand small‑business opportunities for preserved foods.

Career appointment, 100% fixed.

Pay Scale: $61,000.00/year to $83,900.00/year.
