OVERVIEW OF POSITION:

Oversee daily operations within the assigned work area to ensure efficient use of labor, adherence to quality standards, and achievement of operational goals.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

* Directs work area production personnel to include daily assignments, meetings, discipline, training, vacation scheduling, and time and attendance system accuracy.

* Working with leadership teams to ensure that schedules and quality standards are maintained.

* Works with Production Coordinators to ensure that planning and resources (materials and personnel) are available to support production.

* Assign tasks and explain procedures to personnel. Trains and guides operation personnel on assigned tasks.

* Identify resources needed to complete projects on time and within budget.

* Responsible for work area safety issues and housekeeping.

* Transfer personnel to other work areas depending on project requirements per leadership team's request.

* Maximizes labor efficiency and productivity.

EDUCATION:

* Requires an associate degree or its equivalent with 2-5 years of experience in the field or in a related area.

* Familiar with standard concepts, practices and procedures within a particular field.

* Strong supervisory skills.

* Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and team orientation.

* Have good computer and communication skills.
