Controller (Manufacturing) -
The Impact You Will Have
Direct leadership and development of the accounting team, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and future hires as growth continues
Complete ownership of monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, ensuring timely and GAAP-compliant financial statements
Oversight of the general ledger and integrity of all financial reporting
Preparation and review of financial statement packages for executive leadership
Leadership of inventory and manufacturing cost accounting, including standard costing, labor/material/overhead analysis, and overhead rate calculations
Ensuring proper revenue recognition within a complex manufacturing and production environment
Driving cash management initiatives, forecasting, and liquidity planning
Partnering with the CFO on cash flow strategy and financial planning
Establishing and enhancing internal controls and scalable accounting processes to support continued expansion
Analyzing production costs, margin performance, and operational efficiency
Supporting budgeting cycles, forecasting efforts, and long-term strategic financial planning
Acting as primary contact for external auditors and preparing audit support schedules
Recommending and implementing ERP and system improvements to strengthen reporting and operational efficiency
To succeed in this role, you bring:
Strong manufacturing accounting experience (contract manufacturing / EMS highly preferred)
Advanced cost accounting knowledge within a production environment
Deep understanding of GAAP and hands-on experience owning the close process
Proven experience preparing full financial statements
Demonstrated success leading and mentoring accounting teams
Additional experience that would strengthen your candidacy:
Background in aerospace, defense, medical device, automotive, electronics, or other OEM manufacturing sectors
Public accounting experience
CPA or CMA designation
Experience with in public-company environments or exposure to SOX internal controls (valuable as the organization grows)
Experience with JobBOSS ERP systems
Familiarity with DCAA or DCMA audits and government contract compliance
This is more than a Controller position — it’s an opportunity to shape the financial backbone of a company entering its next phase of expansion.
Compensation ranges from $165,000 to $195,000 base salary, based on your experience and depth of expertise in manufacturing accounting.

Compensation: $160,000-$195,000 per year
