This recruitment is being conducted to fill a current vacancy in the Board of Supervisors office.

San Joaquin County Board of Supervisors is seeking an exceptional professional to fill the role of Public Information Specialist. As a crucial member of the organization, you will be responsible for maintaining effective communication between the Board, the community, and the media. We are looking for an individual who possesses a unique combination of strong communication skills, strategic thinking, and a passion for public service.

The incumbent will represent all 5 members of the Board on non-campaign related activities.

Public Information Officer

Highly qualified candidates will be invited to participate in an in-person interview during a regularly scheduled, public Board of Supervisors meeting. The tentative interview date is April 14, 2026.
