Area Manager 2026 – Northern California (Recent and Upcoming Graduates)

This is a full‑time entry‑level position located within one of Amazon’s fulfillment centers, sort centers, delivery stations or other operations buildings. It is not a remote or office‑based role. As a customer‑focused people manager, you will lead a team of hourly associates, manage safety, quality, attendance, and performance while supporting and mentoring them.

• Support, mentor and motivate 50-100 direct report Amazon Associates
• Work independently and operate in an autonomous environment
• Stand or walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours
• Work shift patterns including nights, weekends, and holidays (most follow a 4‑day work week with 3 days off)
• Oversee truck deliveries, handle and sort packages using pallet jacks, operate PIT equipment (where applicable) and step in as needed
• Work in a noise‑varying environment
• Lift up to 49 pounds and frequently push, pull, squat, bend and reach
• Climb and descend stairs (when applicable)

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree completed by August 2026 (all requirements met before first day)

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
• Current or recent completion of a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Business/Management, Engineering or related field

• Fresno – $70,400.00 – $75,000.00 USD annually
• Newark – $73,300.00 – $82,500.00 USD annually
• Rancho Cordova – $70,400.00 – $75,000.00 USD annually
• Stockton – $70,400.00 – $75,000.00 USD annually
• Tracy – $70,400.00 – $75,000.00 USD annually
• Visalia – $70,400.00 – $75,000.00 USD annually

The base salary range for this position is listed above. Your Amazon package will include sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation is determined based on experience, qualifications, and location.
