Sales Operations Manager

National food producer needs a Sales Operations Manager to lead the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process for integrated supply, demand, and inventory plans. A highly visible leadership role
, charged with forming solutions to supply and demand problems.

• Leadership of monthly S&OP process, including report and KPI preparation, to drive business decision making. The S&OP process includes volumes and dollar values, based on operational and financial data.
• Lead multi-functional process to optimize sales and operations to meet/exceed financial goals for the year.
• Create robust communications between sales and operations.
• Manage demand data to establish forecast accuracy for a streamlined planning process while reducing nonvalue added activities and improving operational performance standards.
• Publish operational statistically forecasted demand plan by SKU and shipping location, aligned with financial monthly goals.
• Develop, publish and track forecast accuracy KPI’s for operational, sales and consensus forecasts.
• Strong leadership skills managing up and down the organization are required
  . Able to handle tough decisions, focused on corporate objectives, unbiased toward functional agendas.
• Ability to manage risk, business process oriented.
• Strong supply and demand planning systems experience (e.g. APO DP, SNP, and/or PP/DS.)
• Experience as Plant or Operations Manager.
• Skill with large sets of numbers and complex systems.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business or Supply Chain Management preferred.
• 5-10 years in demand & supply planning roles
• 5-10 years in related supply chain roles.
