Job Overview

Position: Forklift Operator
Location: STOCKTON 2
Essential Functions- Moves levers and presses pedals to drive the truck and control the lifting apparatus.
- Unloads and stacks material by raising and lowering the lifting device.
- Plans supply and material requirements by studying the production schedule; schedules deliveries to the production area.
- Retrieves supplies and materials by studying specifications; locates and verifies supplies and materials; secures pallets on the truck; moves pallets to production locations.
- Maintains inventory in the production area by anticipating and tracking usage; monitors inventory and reports discrepancies.
- Clears the production area by securing and moving finished pallets; moving empty pallets.
- Documents actions by logging movements of supplies, materials, and finished goods.
- Maintains a safe work environment by watching out for foot traffic; following standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations.
- Keeps the forklift operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventative maintenance; calling for repairs.
- Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.
- Provides regular and predictable attendance.

- Minimum Qualifications:
- No experience required in field or similar manufacturing environment.
- No experience required in this position.
- No experience managing people/projects.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- 2 years experience in a similar manufacturing environment.
- 2 years experience working in this position.
- 2 years experience managing people/projects.
- The proven ability to safely operate a sit‑down motorized forklift.
- The ability to navigate within a WMS system.

- Minimum
Required:
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience. - Preferred: Associate's Degree.
- Certification: Forklift certification required.
- Foreign Language: Minimum Professional Proficiency required;
Full Professional Proficiency preferred.
Hourly wage: $20.01 - $27.02 per hour.
