Job Overview

We’re seeking a General Laborer to join our team at our Stockton Bakery
. As a General Laborer, you will support production and shipping operations by ensuring efficient tray flow, proper product handling, and safe, organized work environments that maintain quality and productivity standards.

Hourly Rate: $24.28 per hour

Additional compensation, including applicable shift differentials, overtime, and premium pay, is paid in accordance with the applicable Collective Bargaining Agreement.

• Monitor production tray lines to ensure a consistent and efficient flow of materials.
• Stack and organize bread trays, pallets, and dollies to support production and shipping needs.
• Prepare and stage finished goods for outbound shipment, including shrink wrapping pallets.
• Manage product rotation and maintain organized inventory in storage and freezer areas.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work environment in compliance with GMP standards.
• Follow all food safety, quality, and workplace safety policies, including proper PPE usage.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production and operational goals.

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to perform repetitive physical tasks over an 8-hour shift.
• Ability to lift and handle 10 lb bread pans consistently throughout the workday.
• Ability to push and pull carts weighing up to 220 lbs multiple times per shift.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, twist, and reach for extended periods.
• Ability to work in hot production environments and freezer conditions.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions while maintaining safety and quality standards.

• Previous manufacturing, warehouse, or food production experience.
• Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
• Experience working in temperature-controlled environments.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Experience supporting shipping, logistics, or inventory operations.
