- Create and develop CNC programs in Mastercam for a variety of machining processes such as milling and turning on multi‑axis CNC equipment.
- Review engineering drawings and 3D models to determine machining requirements and establish efficient tool paths.
- Choose suitable cutting tools, fixtures, and machining parameters based on part geometry and material specifications.
- Run simulations and verify CNC programs to identify and resolve potential errors, collisions or inefficiencies prior to production.
- Work closely with machinists, engineers, and production teams to troubleshoot issues, refine machining processes, and improve overall part quality and efficiency.
- Assist with machine setup and operate equipment as needed to test and validate CNC programs.
- Maintain documentation for program revisions, setup sheets, and machining procedures.
